Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of TempMail.is and our free disposable / temporary email tools. Last updated: 15 July 2026. By using the site, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
TempMail.is provides temporary email addresses for receiving messages. Features may include random or custom aliases, multiple inboxes, and message viewing in the browser. We may change, limit, or discontinue features at any time. The service is provided free of charge for normal personal use unless we state otherwise.
2. No registration account
You can use core features without creating a traditional account. Access may depend on browser storage and technical identifiers. You are responsible for activity performed with addresses you generate on your device.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use TempMail.is to:
- Send spam, phishing, malware, or scam content (the service is receive-oriented; abuse of related systems is forbidden)
- Harass, threaten, defraud, or harm others
- Violate any law or third-party rights
- Attack, scrape excessively, overload, or reverse engineer the service in a harmful way
- Bypass security, rate limits, or abuse controls
- Create accounts on third-party services in violation of their terms where prohibited
- Use disposable email for illegal activity or to conceal serious wrongdoing
We may suspend access, delete addresses, drop mail, or block traffic that appears abusive without notice.
4. Receive-only nature
Unless we explicitly launch a send feature, disposable addresses are for receiving email only. Delivery of every message is not guaranteed: third-party filters, blocking of disposable domains, network issues, or abuse controls may prevent receipt.
5. No high-risk use
Do not use Temp Mail for banking, government services, healthcare, legal notices, long-term account recovery, or any matter where loss of access would cause serious harm. Temporary inboxes can be deleted, expire, or become unreadable. You assume that risk.
6. Content and privacy of mail
Messages sent to a disposable address may be accessible to anyone who knows that address. Do not expect confidentiality. See our Privacy Policy for how data is handled.
7. Intellectual property
The TempMail.is name, logo, design, and site content are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy the product UI, brand, or code for competing services without permission. You retain rights to content you lawfully own that happens to arrive in a temp inbox, subject to these Terms and applicable law.
8. Third-party services
The site may show ads or load third-party scripts (analytics, advertising). Those parties have their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party websites you sign up to using a temp address.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation, or that any email will arrive.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TEMPMAIL.IS AND ITS OPERATORS ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR OPPORTUNITY, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF AMOUNTS YOU PAID US (IF ANY) IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR USD $0 FOR FREE USE.
11. Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of the service or violation of these Terms.
12. Changes to the service or Terms
We may update these Terms or the service at any time. Continued use after changes means you accept the new Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the site.
